** The Company
We are a boutique and growing tax accounting firm offers advisory, accounting & tax services. With a friendly and supportive environment, we are looking for an accountant who is happy to be a part of team, take on a variety of work and clients, and have a passion for success.
Reporting to the Director and senior accountant, your role will include but not limited to:
? General business accounting & taxation
? BAS/IAS
? Superannuation and wage tax calculation
? Preparation of Financial Statements
? Prepare Company, Trust, Super Fund, Partnership and Individual income tax returns
? Register for ABN, TFN, GST, PAYG Tax Withholding
? Prepare Annual ASIC Company Statements & ASIC updates
? Management of Tax Office data via tax portal
? Liaise with ATO, ASIC and third parties on behalf of clients
? Manage client relationships & attending to client queries
? Assisting with client with payroll & book keeping
? Ad hoc and projects as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
? A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Australian public practice in taxation and accounting
? Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent
? Available to work 2-3 days in our North Ryde office
? Part-Time hours: 15- 20 hours per week
? Excellent communication skills ? both written and verbal
? Proficient / advanced excel skills is a must in this role
? Fluent in Chinese or/and Korean speaking would be ideal
? Deadline-oriented
? Ability to work in both a team and independent environment
? Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high performance work environment
? High level of accuracy and attention to detail
? Good time management & prioritization skills
? Experience with Xero or Reckon Elite would be ideal
