We are currently seeking an energetic individual to join Shinhan as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer. This opening is a full-time permanent position and will be an exciting opportunity for your career progression in banking and financial industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for regulatory reporting for Risk, Compliance and AML/CTF matters including APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC
- Administrator for regulatory portal including APRA Connect, ASIC/AUSTRAC portal.
- Provide reporting to head office on a regular basis for Risk, Compliance and AML/CTF matters
- Provide active advice for Risk, Compliance and AML/CTF matters
- Review Branch’s policies and propose amendments ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements
- Undertaking daily/monthly/quarterly inspection for the Branch
- Liaison with outsourced internal auditor, and APS310 auditor.
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English
- Prior at least 5 years’ experience in banking or finance field
- Prior experience in AML/Compliance preferred
- In-depth experience and understanding of APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related areas preferred
- CA, CPA, CFA or other relevant professional membership preferred
- Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship holder preferred
