Missing Spoon is a well growing multi-store neighbourhood caf?-by-day and restaurant-by-night, Korean and Japanese influence food providing service.
Our ethos is about sourcing the freshest, seasonal produce and working with the best suppliers so that we can create colourful, flavoursome dishes that are delicious with a unique twist.
Full time/Part time positions available
- Industry award rates and working conditions
- 4 weeks of probation period will be applied (for training purposes)
- Negotiation available after probation period for right candidates

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all customer service expectations are met. This includes greeting customers, providing professional service, taking orders and cash register operation
- Accurate processing and management of all cash/card payments and balancing of cash register (with receipts)
- Provide appropriate service to special needs customers (special dietary requirements etc.)
- Stock taking following stock check lists
- Ensure all areas around the register, bar, servery and tables are clean and tidy
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in appropriate place for efficient daily use
- Prepare beverages by following recipes
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
- Such other duties, within the nature and scope of the position, as may be required from time to time
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a caf? MUST have espresso coffee experience IN AUSTRALIA
(Min. 6 Months in fast paced environment)
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Strong, natural customer service skills
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace with a strong teamwork
- Ability to create a positive and energetic atmosphere throughout the store
- Ability to multi-task and ensure all duties are completed especially during quite times
- Passion for coffee, good food and drinks
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Positive can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Able to work weekends
