    About the business
    Woori Bank Sydney Branch, the subsidiary of Korean Woori Bank, provides a diverse range of financial services such as deposit, loan, export/import and remittance.

    About the role :
    This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Loans with loan structuring and the monitoring of loan performance & counterparty. The role also involves entering loan applications and credit assessments into Crepia (the Woori Bank credit system) and managing problem loans/IB Desks, as required.

    Position Outline:
    Reporting to Head of Loans

    Responsibilities:
    -Proposing loan structures and preparation of loan documentation
    -Assist with client relationship management
    -Verification of applicant supporting documentation (credit information and financial statements)
    -Ensure that all conversations with the customer relative to a loan and actions are documented in the credit file
    -Review all credit files to assure that they contain all required information
    -Confirmation of availability within loan limits according to the monthly Loan Portfolio Report
    -Processing of all new applications and collection of supporting documentation
    -Maintenance of loan accounts, rollovers and closure of loans
    -Maintenance of credit files (ensuring that all necessary documentations is maintained on file)
    -Monitoring loan performance and counterparties
    -Issuance of call reports to notify Head Office of any issues with -loan/counterparty performance, as required
    -Diligently follow up overdue loan in the portfolio
    -Report all problematic loans in a timely manner including the steps to be taken to address and resolve delinquencies
    -Enter all pertinent data on overdue loans and “Work-out” situations in the credit file and keep the credit file fully documented
    -Conducting annual reviews of existing customer facilities and performance
    -Assistance and co-operation with the Collection Department in the collection of delinquent loans
    -Continue to monitor and review on existing syndicated facilities with post-management

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience
    -University, professional or financial qualifications
    -Lending and credit assessment experience
    -Ability to understand financial statements
    -Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean & English
    -High level of attention to detail
    -Ability to identify new business opportunities
    -Possess an understanding of Sydney Branch’s risk appetite, the sources of potential business risk, and the action required to manage risks and escalate risk awareness.
    -Excellent time management, prioritisation skills and computer literacy
    -Lawyer of CPA certificate holders will be given preference.
    -PR, Citizenship visa holders
