About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking an energetic, career driven Mortgage Broker Support to join our fantastic mortgage division within the company.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop into a mortgage broker.
Skills to excel in this role:
? Full Australia work rights.
? Ideally with para-planner experience is preferable.
? 3+ years’ experience in mortgage broking, Insurance Processing and Administration.
? Ability to interpret a set of financial statements and tax returns and Business Group Structure .
? Excellent time management skills with high attention to detail.
? Cert IV or diploma in mortgage & finance is desirable, but not essential.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English
Duties include (but not limited to):
Administration & Compliance:
? Prepare and follow up of loan documentation from start to completion.
? Ensure lender application forms and associated documents are accurately correlated and submitted.
? Assist the Mortgage Broker to ensure that all annual internal Mortgage related compliance documents are updated and submitted on time (eg. PI renewals, FBAA etc).
? Ability to analyse & interpret client documentation eg. Tax returns and financial statements.
? Experience in completing serviceability tests with appropriate lenders.
? Maintain the Brokerage CRM system.
? Provide administration and general office duties such as filing, scanning documents and data entry.
Communications & People:
? Communication with external parties such as banks, solicitors, and other loan-related contacts
? Update clients throughout the entire loan application process
? Work closely with the Mortgage Broker and Accounting Team on a daily basis

Business Development:
? Assist the Broker to build the Mortgage Finance division through Networking, Prospecting and Selling.
? Establish business relations with individual and referral sources for the purpose of generating leads.
