Our client is one of the global leading trading and Logistics Company based in Sydney CBD. They operate business in diverse industries such as natural resources, renewable energy, infrastructure projects and commodity trading. They are currently looking for enthusiastic person to join their team.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility of the full functionality of logistics administration on a hands on basis; including to perform the day to day servicing of the logistics operations, responsible for ensuring all orders are dispatched on a daily basis and meeting transport cut off times, and the booking of freight and associated documentation, assist in the tracking of customer\'s orders and freight enquiries. Checking and booking of inbound goods both internal and external to ensure accuracy and quality. Supporting other departmental requirements for shipping of goods (inbound and outbound) for any work related activities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate freight vendors to ensure timely cost effective delivery, negotiate pricing as necessary
- Locate supplies from internal and external sources to fulfil orders
- Maintain and provide accurate records of supplies
- Process purchasing requisitions as required
- Handling incoming customer calls
- Process all logistical transactions and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed
- Inventory management
- Maintaining data base
- Coordinate delivers and supplies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Logistics Coordinator role is desirable
- Ability to communicate in Korean is highly preferred but not essential
- General understanding of Group business structure
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to multi task
- Tertiary qualification (International Trading or Business, Commerce preferred)
- Intermediate Office Suite skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Proven communication skill with highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Be punctual and possess a professional attitude
- Report writing skills are essential
