We're looking for an energetic person to join our team! Lab Kitchen is a bustling cafe run at Carlingford Court, well-known in the community for our customer service as well as our exceptional coffee and food.
The positions available are below, please specify which position you are applying for if you're interested!
----------Floor Staff / Hourly Rate / Casual or Part time
Monday, Tuesday / 8am to 5pm
About the Role :
Taking orders, arranging and preparing tables, taking orders at the cashier register
Attending queries and giving the best advice to customers regarding their dining experience
Assisting with daily and weekly cleaning of the dining table and general cafe
About You:
Experience in working in a high-quality establishment
Passionate about food, drinks, hospitality
Experience in cash & credit card payment handling
Have full Australian working rights
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Well-presented & punctual
---------Chef or Cook / Hourly rate / Casual or Part time
8am to 3:30pm
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday / 4 days
About The Role :
Cooking and preparing high-quality meals
Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
Supervise and provide training to our kitchen staff
Ensure communication between the kitchen team is effective
Ensure staff are following safe work practices at all times
Maintain a high standard of food safety guidelines
About You :
Who is passionate of cooking food
Attention to detail
Excellent communication
Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
Experience in a similar role
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
